 1   	Awake! for Morning in the Bowl of Night Has flung the Stone that puts the Stars to Flight: And Lo! the Hunter of the East has caught The Sultan’s Turret in a Noose of Light.

Note: I think I will post a stanza a day until a. I run out of illustrations or b. I run out of favorite stanzas. I’m not going to post in order necessarily - Fitzgerald mixed up Khayyam’s poem, so I think I can mix up his translation.  It is my ultimate goal in studying Persian to be able to read the original.
